Let’s shed a little more light on our lives! Together, we’ll explore the popular Danish and Norwegian concept of hygge; the experience of cozy contentment in everyday life. Taking inspiration from this idea, as well as artists who utilize light as their medium, we will then repurpose ordinary materials into playful illuminated sculptures for the spaces we inhabit.

MYTHICAL MARIONETTES

Step into an alternate reality and engage your imagination as you mix & match images from calendars, greeting cards, and magazines to assemble one-of-a-kind hybrid creatures. You will make fantastical beings of all kinds in this supernatural collage-based workshop. When complete, these unique characters may just inspire your own short story or animation!
